Opening times

Glückauf, dear guests, 

the Bad Friedrichshall Salt Mine is still an active mining operation and is therefore not open daily to visitors.

The visitor mine is still closed during the winter season, up to and including 30 April 2025.

In 2025, the mine will be open to visitors as follows:

1st May to 3rd October 2025 inclusive
on Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays only
from 9.30 am to 3.30 pm (last admission)

4th to 25th July 2025 inclusive,
and on Fridays at the same times

All visitors must exit the mine by 5.30 pm.

The mine will be closed for the winter season from 4th October 2025.
