Glückauf, dear guests, 

the Bad Friedrichshall salt mine has been closed for the winter break since 4th October 2025. 

Visiting season 2026: from Friday, 1st May 2026

The Bad Friedrichshall salt mine is not open to visitors every day, as it is still an active mining operation.

In 2026, the visitor mine will be open as follows:

1st May to 3rd October 2026 inclusive
on Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays only
from 9.30 am to 3.30 pm (last admission)

3rd to 24th July 2026 inclusive,
and on Fridays at the same times

All visitors must exit the mine by 5.30 pm.

The mine will be closed for the winter season from 4th October 2026.
