Glückauf! Dear visitors,

the Südwestdeutsche Salzwerke AG will unfortunately not be opening the visitor mine in Bad Friedrichshall this year.

It is still a temporary non-opening after the measurements in the underground visitor tour showed lower levels of nitrosamines, but still above the limit value.

You can find more information on this in our press release from 17th January 2024.

However, the positive development of the measured values so far gives us hope that we will be able to open next year.

We will provide information here in due course.
