KOCHENDORF CONCENTRATION CAMP MEMORIAL

The permanent exhibition "Gedenkstätte KZ-Kochendorf” provides a moment of reflection and silence.

This exhibition commemorates the prisoners of the former Kochendorf concentration camp and their work underground to produce arms during World War II.

European Heritage Label for the cross-border cooperation of concentration camp memorials in Baden-Württemberg and Alsace

The Miklos Klein Foundation Bad Friedrichshall was awarded the European Heritage Label in June 2018 for the exhibition in the salt mine as one of twelve satellite camps of the Natzweiler former concentration camp.

The European Heritage Label is awarded to sites that have significant European and symbolic value.
